Why this works everywhere, unlike HTML formatting
Platforms like Instagram bios and WhatsApp status don't support HTML bold/italic tags. What this tool actually does is map your text to different Unicode code points that visually resemble bold, italic, or script letters โ they're literally different characters (not formatting), so they copy and paste as-is and display consistently across almost any app or platform.
Why some styles don't cover every character
Not every Unicode style block includes numbers, punctuation, or every letter โ some styles were originally defined for mathematical notation and only cover a subset of the alphabet. If a style shows boxes or missing characters for certain letters, that letter simply isn't defined in that particular Unicode block.
