How It Works
This tool rearranges the pages of a PDF into any order you specify, producing a new document with pages in exactly the sequence you define — processed entirely in your browser.
Specifying the new order
Enter the page numbers in the sequence you want them to appear, e.g. "3, 1, 2" places the original page 3 first, then page 1, then page 2. You can also repeat a page number to include that page multiple times in the output.
Examples
Fixing a scan that went out of order
A double-sided document scanned as separate front and back batches often comes out in the wrong order — entering the correct sequence (e.g. "1, 5, 2, 6, 3, 7...") interleaves them correctly.
Moving an appendix to the front
For a 10-page document where you want page 10 (an appendix) to appear first, entering "10, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9" produces that exact order.
Common Use Cases
- Fixing page order on documents scanned out of sequence
- Rearranging a document's structure without reassembling it from scratch
- Duplicating a specific page (like a reference sheet) to appear at multiple points in a document
Tips
- Every original page number should typically appear exactly once in your new sequence unless you intentionally want to duplicate or omit a page — double-check your entered sequence against the PDF's total page count before running it.
- For a large document, it's easy to make a sequencing mistake by hand — consider previewing the PDF's page thumbnails first so you know exactly which physical page number corresponds to which content.
