How It Works
This tool resizes all pages of a PDF to a standard paper size — A4, A3, A5, US Letter, Legal, or Tabloid — scaling content proportionally to fit the new dimensions, processed locally using pdf-lib.
Why this matters across regions
The US and a few other countries use Letter/Legal paper sizes, while most of the rest of the world uses the ISO A-series (A4, A3, A5) — a PDF created for one standard often doesn't print cleanly on the other region's default paper size without resizing, sometimes cutting off content or leaving odd margins.
Proportional scaling
Content is scaled proportionally to fit within the new page dimensions rather than stretched unevenly — this preserves the original aspect ratio and readability, though very differently-shaped target sizes may still result in some added margin space.
